Carbon Nano Tube (CNT) Market Outlook

Although Carbon Nano Tubes (CNTs) have been around for more than 3 decades commercially, they have really grown in use in the last couple of years. Today, it is estimated that more than 20,000 mtns a year are consumed, mostly in batteries but increasingly in composites, coatings, electronics and other applications.

The Advanced Carbons Council created an updated market report, verifying more than 125 current producers of CNTs including single and multi-wall products. We have also examined the growing market of CNT companies that do not actually make CNTs but specialize in converting then into other useful materials or devices.
