Amplifying Graphene Sensor Responses: Exploring Barristor-Based Sensor Platforms
Wednesday, 26 June 2024
Graphene has attracted many intentions for a post-Si material due to its high mobility. Until recently, graphene field-effect transistor (GFET) applications were expanded to various sensor applications such as gas sensors, biosensors, and phototransistors. However, the sensitivity could not be high due to GFET’s low on/off ratio. Since graphene barristor was proposed to solve the switching issue, it could also improve the sensitivity for the various sensor applications. This talk will review the limits of graphene transistors for sensor application applications and the barristor-based sensor platform will be introduced.
