Marcel Quennet is CEO of Quantistry, a Berlin-based scale-up transforming how advanced materials are developed through AI-driven quantum simulation. He holds a PhD in quantum chemistry from Freie Universität Berlin, specialising in novel solar cell materials, with expertise spanning quantum chemistry, scientific computing, and data science. Since co-founding Quantistry in 2019, Marcel has led the company’s evolution into a materials decision intelligence platform, enabling industrial R&D teams to design, optimize, and validate candidates computationally before a single gram is synthesised in the lab. Customers include global industry leaders such as Airbus, Daimler, and AMS Osram.
