Almath Crucibles Awarded King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation 2024

On October 24th, Almath Crucibles were awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation for 2024. This was in reward for their research and development of high purity, fully vitrified MgO ceramics. Director Michael was presented the King’s Awards by Mrs Julie Spence, OBE QPM, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, joined by notable dignitaries.

A spokesperson for Almath Crucibles detailed the exciting event: “They were given a tour of our premises, and we all enjoyed cake and champagne to celebrate! This was followed by a team lunch. It was a fantastic day celebrating such a big achievement, and as always we are so proud of our team.”
