Almath Crucibles Ltd: Cold Isostatic Processing
Wednesday, 9 October 2024
Over the past year, we have been expanding our ceramic forming capabilities using Cold Isostatic Pressing (CIP). The process compliments our existing capabilities in slip casting and in ceramic machining, enabling us to make thicker, more complex shaped crucibles and components.
These are available in a wide range of sizes, shapes, material and porosity. For crucibles, this means users can have their preferred outer geometry, whilst using an inner geometry that favours retrieving all of the raw material from the crucible after processing. The same technology can be used to produce crucible holders or any customer specific design for technical ceramic applications. We offer a wide range of both custom made and standard products.
Almath Crucibles Ltd will be exhibiting at The Advanced Ceramics Show, 9th & 10th July, 2025 at NEC, Birmingham, UK. Visit them at Stand 1233.
