Exhibitor Spotlight: Microcertec

Microcertec are exhibiting at The Advanced Ceramics Show on Booth 955.

What   types   of   advanced   materials   does   your   company   focus   on? At Microcertec, we specialize in the fabrication of advanced ceramics and the precision manufacturing of custom components made from technical ceramics, glasses, and quartz, as well as glass-to-metal assemblies and ceramic-to-metal hybrid structures designed for critical operation in harsh environments. We produce various grades of alumina and zirconia ceramics in-house and carry out metal and dielectric layer deposition for hybrid structures. Meanwhile, our machining and microstructuring expertise covers the full spectrum of advanced ceramics and technical glasses.

These products support a wide range of high-tech sectors—from 3D ceramic optoelectronic packages and subassemblies for laser sources to spacecraft payload components, medical and analytical instruments, RF and microwave antennas, thermal insulators, radiation-shielding parts for nuclear systems and particle accelerators, and vacuum-technology equipment.

What are the key benefits of your specialised materials?

Our materials offer outstanding thermal stability, chemical resistance, electrical insulation, and mechanical strength—even under extreme conditions. Thanks to high-precision machining, they support miniaturization, extended service life, and enhanced reliability across demanding sectors such as aerospace, defense, telecommunications, energy, and medical technologies.

Are there any exciting innovations in your industry or company that you can share?

For over 20 years, our company has specialized in a unique fabrication technology known as CI3D (full 3D-Faced Ceramic Interconnect Devices), enabling the integration of metallic microstructures on monolithic ceramics for demanding applications.

We are currently developing a next-generation version of this technology that introduces true volumetric interconnection within these devices; a breakthrough approach that supports high- density, compact design and seamless integration in mission-critical systems.

What’s the one thing attendees should know about your company?

We don’t just supply advanced ceramics or precision machining services—we fabricate tailored, functional solutions and customized components that empower our clients to push the boundaries of performance and miniaturization through design flexibility and innovation. In this regard, our work serves as both a technology enabler and an innovation facilitator, helping our clients achieve what is out of reach in the domain of ceramic devices.

What can visitors expect to see at your stand at The Advanced Materials Show?

Visitors will discover our 3D ceramic structures, laser micro-machined components, and CI3D interconnect devices—demonstrating our expertise in precision and innovative part fabrication. We’ll also be sharing how we collaborate with forward-thinking partners to develop custom solutions for tomorrow’s most demanding challenges.

What excites you most about being part of The Advanced Materials Show this year?

It’s a unique opportunity to engage with forward-thinking experts, showcase our latest breakthroughs, and build partnerships that will help shape the future of ceramic devices in high-tech industries.
