Exhibitor Spotlight with Top Seiko

Top Seiko will be exhibiting at The Advanced Ceramics Show on Booth 1243.

1. What types of advanced materials does your company focus on?

Top Seiko specializes in ultra-precision machining of hard-to-machine materials such as advanced ceramics (alumina, zirconia, silicon carbide), refractory metals (tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum), and technical glasses and crystals — including quartz, borosilicate glass, optical glass, and sapphire. These materials are essential in high-tech sectors where reliability and performance are critical.

2. What are the key benefits of your specialized materials?

The materials we work with offer exceptional resistance to heat, wear, and corrosion, as well as excellent electrical insulation and dimensional stability. Their unique properties make them ideal for demanding applications in the semiconductor, aerospace, analytical, and medical industries. Combined with our machining expertise, they enable the creation of components that only Top Seiko can manufacture.

3. Are there any exciting innovations in your industry or company that you can share?

Yes — one innovation we’re excited about is diffusion bonding, a solid-state joining process that allows us to bond advanced materials like ceramics or refractory metals without adhesives or brazing. It maintains the integrity and purity of the material, opening the door to complex multi-material assemblies and micro-channel structures. By integrating this with our precision machining, we help clients push the limits of performance and design.

4. What’s the one thing attendees should know about your company?

Top Seiko is the go-to partner when precision meets complexity. We’re trusted worldwide for our ability to machine difficult materials to extremely tight tolerances, and we pride ourselves on delivering quality, consistency, and technical insight every step of the way. Importantly, we work exclusively as a subcontractor, offering custom-made components strictly based on the drawings and specifications provided by our clients. Whether for prototypes or small-volume production, every part we deliver is tailor-made.

5. What can visitors expect to see at your stand at The Advanced Materials Show?

At our stand, visitors will see real examples of precision components machined from ceramics, refractory metals, and technical glasses and crystals. We’ll showcase the level of detail and

complexity we can achieve, and our team will be available to discuss custom projects, materials, tolerances, and how we support R&D and production teams across industries.

6. What excites you most about being part of The Advanced Materials Show this year?

We’re excited to connect with innovators who are driving the future of materials science. The Advanced Materials Show is the perfect place to exchange ideas, discover new challenges, and explore how precision machining and emerging techniques like diffusion bonding can support the development of next-generation technologies.
