After graduating with a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Sheffield in 2002, Ian has spent over 20 years within the construction chemicals sector in senior technical management positions overseeing the delivery of high-performance materials. Joining First Graphene in 2022 as R&D Manager, he now leads a Manchester-based team of material scientists focused on leveraging their specialist graphene nanoplatelets (PureGRAPH®) to develop advanced, sustainable solutions for critical global challenges like energy storage and carbon emissions.
