Travel

By Car:
  • The NEC is clearly signposted from all motorways and major routes including the M42, M40 and M6.
  • To get to the NEC site, use postcode B40 1NT
  • This postcode will not take you to the car park for the event.
  • Please follow signage at the NEC to find the event car park.
  • On show open days, a shuttle bus will be available to take you from the car park to the NEC entrance

Parking:

  • The event will take place in Halls 7 & 8 on the Atrium side of the venue
  • The designated parking areas for the event will be confirmed in May 2026
  • When you arrive at the NEC, please follow the digital road signage for the event which will be displayed as AMSACS BCSVEX
  • The NEC has a new hybrid ANPR-enabled barrier system, active from December 2025

By Train:
  • The NEC is located a five-minute walk away from Birmingham International Railway Station.
  • Direct services run all day, however, if you’re travelling from further afield, you may need to catch a connecting train at Birmingham New Street.
By Plane:
  • To get to/ from Birmingham Airport, take the free air-rail link to/ from Birmingham International Railway Station (located at the upper level of Terminal 1)
  • The air-rail link runs every 2 minutes and only takes 90 seconds.
T.O.A Taxis:
  • The NEC has teamed up with T.O.A Taxis to ensure a safe, friendly, 24/7 service at the NEC
  • You can book over the phone by calling 0121 427 8888 or 0800 0142 729, online or via their handy app.
  • Alternatively, pick one up at the clearly marked ranks outside the main entrances.
  • For added convenience TOA Taxis accept all major credit cards, subject to a charge of 10%+VAT.
  • If you plan to arrive at the NEC via Taxi, you will be dropped off at either the Piazza drop off and pick up area or the Atrium entrance.
  • You can be picked up by the main entrance, you will find TOA located at either the Piazza or Atrium, a short walk from the main entrances. The location of these is shown on our site map, linked HERE
By Bus & Coach:
  • Over 120 National Express and Megabus coach services run daily across the UK to Birmingham Airport
  • If you are planning on arriving by bus from within the West Midlands area, there are numerous options that will get you to the NEC

Veezu.:
  • The official Private Hire Partner of the NEC
  • There are dedicated Veezu. pick-up and drop-off points near all main entrances
  • You can book by calling 0121 744 1111 or via theVeezu. app
  • Visit Veezu.
  • If you plan to arrive at the NEC using other Private Hire providers, you will be dropped off at either the Piazza drop off and pick up area or the Atrium entrance.
By Bicycle and on Foot:
  • The best and safest way to get to the NEC on foot or on bike is to use the shared cycle footpath route to Birmingham International Railway Station and the NEC is a short walk from there.
