Keynote: The National Materials Innovation Programme

The £80m National Materials Innovation Programme (NMIP) is creating a nationally coordinated approach to accelerate the translation and adoption of advanced materials across the UK economy. Part of the UK government’s Industrial Strategy and the Advanced Manufacturing Sector Plan, NMIP targets multiple sectors and builds on the National Materials Innovation Strategy. This keynote will outline the programme’s origins and highlight key opportunities for industry and research.
