The last few decades have seen the emergence of entirely new classes of advanced nano carbons, like carbon nano tubes (CNTs), graphene and MXenes. These materials are now being applied on a fast growing commercial scale and offer solutions to challenging engineering problems across very broad sectors; from concrete to electronics, from coatings to composites, and from health care to transportation with many more in between.
