Dr. Yu Yu is the Lead Researcher at Almath Crucibles Ltd.

With a background in Materials Science and Engineering (BSc, MSc, and PhD), she specialises in developing, characterising, and manufacturing advanced ceramics for applications in nuclear technology, energy conversion and storage, and green metal production and recycling.

She leads Innovate UK and industry-funded research projects at Almath and works closely with university partners to support innovation in these areas.
